HCG Manavata, a 300 bedded cancer specialty hospital is first-of-its-kind in district. Currently working as consultant in Department of GI and Minimal Invasive Surgical Oncology. Started Robotic Oncosurgery, First Laparoscopic Cancer and Colorectal specialized Team at HCG Manavata Cancer Centre in Jan 2019. Have successfully set up multi-disciplinary Peritoneal Surface Surgery and HIPEC program. Have played a pivotal role in establishing Robotic Surgery at the HCG Cancer Centre. Total 100+ cases performed since Jan 2019 (March 2021 update: 85+ cases till year 2021).
Involved in pre-operative evaluation of liver transplant patients as well as Listing in Liver Transplant Registry. Also performed role in OPD and operative follow up of all HPB/Transplant patients.
Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital runs one of the pioneer training programs in Surgical Gastroenterology in Asia (3 Seats/yr). A complex hepatobiliary procedures care liver transplantation. Actively involved in Surgical Rounds, 3 rounds/wk in consults procedures and performing surgeries under supervision.
The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest specialized cancer center in Europe. 1st Indian Fellow at CPOC for 1 yr training in Peritoneal surface Malignancies (Cytoreductive Surgery & HIPEC) & Pelvic Surgeries. Performed around 125 cases of CRS & HIPEC along with complex pelvic surgery.
Provided comprehensive cancer treatment in eastern part of India. Active participant in training in Special Oncology, GI & HPB unit. Managing outpatient clinic in diagnosing and staging cancers and performing complex major surgeries.
Worked as an assistant professor in department of general surgery at JJ Hospital and St. George Hospital for 1 year. Completed 3 years of Surgical Residency along with rotational post in surgical oncology (Mumbai University).
